Terms of Service

Last updated: July 5, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Roncy LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States of America ("Roncy LLC," "RonFax," "we," "us," or "our"), governing access to and use of the RonFax website, email-to-fax features, and related online fax transmission services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.

1. Acceptance of terms & eligibility

By accessing or using the Service, creating a checkout session, uploading a document, or clicking to accept these Terms where presented, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

You represent and warrant that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service & billing

RonFax is a utility service that enables digital document transmission over public fax telecommunications networks. You provide a document (typically PDF or image format) and a destination fax number; after payment authorization, we route your transmission through our carrier partners to the number you specify.

The Service is offered on a pay-per-use basis. Pricing is displayed before checkout (currently $1.99 for up to 3 pages, then $0.50 per extra page). Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Email-to-fax and certain flows may use a pay-after-upload model where you receive a payment link before transmission begins.

RonFax does not review, edit, or guarantee the legal sufficiency of your documents. You are solely responsible for verifying recipient fax numbers, required forms, deadlines, and compliance obligations of the receiving entity.

3. Refund & chargeback policy

Fax transmission incurs immediate, largely irreversible carrier and infrastructure costs upon delivery attempt.

Successful transmissions are non-refundable. If the telecommunications network confirms delivery to the receiving fax machine (or reports a completed handoff consistent with industry standards), the associated charges are strictly non-refundable, including partial deliveries where billable pages were transmitted.

Failed transmissions due to RonFax error.If a transmission completely fails due to a verified technical error on RonFax's systems (and not due to user input, recipient equipment, or carrier-side rejection), we will, at our discretion, issue a full or partial refund or account credit through Stripe. Refund status may appear on your transmission status page when applicable.

User errors are not refundable. Mistyped fax numbers, incorrect country codes, unreadable or incomplete documents, missing cover pages required by the recipient, or submissions to the wrong department do not qualify for refunds.

Chargebacks. Initiating a payment chargeback without first contacting support@ronfax.com may result in suspension of access to the Service. We reserve the right to submit carrier logs, delivery confirmations, and Stripe records to dispute illegitimate chargebacks.

4. Limitation of liability & disclaimer of warranties

RonFax is a passive transmission conduit.

We do not review, audit, endorse, or guarantee the content, accuracy, or legal effect of documents you transmit. We are not liable for any actions, delays, rejections, or failures to process documents by receiving third-party entities, including but not limited to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Equifax, Experian, TransUnion, the Social Security Administration (SSA), state agencies, or private insurance providers (such as Aetna, Cigna, or Blue Cross Blue Shield plans).

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE OPERATION, OR THAT TRANSMISSIONS WILL BE RECEIVED, PROCESSED, OR ACTED UPON BY ANY RECIPIENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Roncy LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, MISSED DEADLINES, DENIED BENEFITS, CREDIT REPORTING OUTCOMES, TAX PENALTIES, OR OTHER FINANCIAL LOSSES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO RONFAX FOR THE SPECIFIC TRANSMISSION GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (USD $50).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

5. Acceptable use policy

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You are strictly prohibited from using RonFax to:

  • Send unsolicited advertisements, marketing faxes, or promotional material ("fax spam") in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM Act, or similar laws;
  • Transmit harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or abusive content;
  • Submit fraudulent claims, forged documents, or impersonate another person or entity;
  • Transmit malware, illegal materials, or content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights; or
  • Probe, scrape, or interfere with the Service or related systems.

We may suspend or terminate access immediately, without refund, if we reasonably believe you have violated this policy or applicable law. We may cooperate with law enforcement where required.

6. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts, except where prohibited by applicable consumer protection law.

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
